An eventful day

20-02-2012
Did not have a good sleep, was awake at 04.00 am. Had a chat with some Australian friends. Now we will see what the day brings. My face is stiff and a bit sore, it’s cold outside I have to dress warm for the funeral this afternoon. At 9 am the telephone rang. Eldest daughter is on her way with two grandchildren. The day has started.
With two grandchildren things are pretty lively to say the least. It’s twelve thirty before we know, then eldest daughter starts to pack their things together and wants to put the lot in the car. She first opens the front and throws the bags end her keys on the seat, slams the door close and the whole lot locks up automatically. Luckily the children were still outside but her keys were inside. So she has to take my car to go home for spare keys. Time for us is pressing as we have to attend the neighbors funeral at one thirty. After an half hour they set off and we can get ready for the funeral. It was a nice and impressing funeral I sung the old hymnals but my eye let tears flow so I had to use the hanky. After the service we went walking to the grave yard. This I always like as the church bell is ringing the whole time till we arrive at the grave. Only it shouldn’t have been so cold. Now my face hurts and is all stiff again, halfway the eye did hurt so bad I had to put on the goggles. Back at church we had coffee and some buns we went to our next door neighbors home and had a gluhwine, so we did give our neighbor a descend send off, may he rest in peace. We were back home at five o clock, and had dinner. After that I fell asleep on the couch. Not for long though, youngest daughter came with three children on their way from swimming lessons so I was loudly awakened and felt buggered. It’s eight o clock pm now and all is quiet again. An eventful day, but rest??? Tomorrow up at five twenty to go to work. Bed time. Good night.
