I saw my opthomologist today and got the same old story. The nerve IS regenerating, but it will take more TIME - and I have to be patient. He also noticed the eye is dry again and insists I tape it at night. I had stopped taping it several weeks ago because I didn't think I needed it. During the day I hardly felt the need for the eye drops either. But now he says I have to go back to using them more frequently during the day, and I absolutely must tape at night. DARN...

Lately my eye seems to be drooping more, especially when I'm tired; and I feel the "pull" on that eye when I'm talking. Also, when I'm chewing I feel the eye actually closing or blinking and I'm very upset about that. But, as both doctors have said - TIME will tell. As of today, it's eight months with RHS.
