That evening I had my first, full blown vertigo attack! Things were spinning and I couldn’t walk without nearly falling down. I had remembered that a possible side effect of the Neurontin was dizziness. I immediately assumed that the dosage increase had caused the vertigo. I discontinued the Neurontin. The vertigo attack lasted for 2-3 days.

After discontinuing the Neurontin, the pain increased, but I was too freaked out over the vertigo attack to restart the med. My f/u appt with the neuro was a few days away.
