Well I saw the ENT and he confirmed that I do have RHS. He gave me a higher dose of acyclovir and said it was probably to late for Prednisone to do me any good now. I told him how sick I get when I take it and he said that some people just can’t tolerate it. Basically it is just a bunch of wait and see now. The acupuncture seems to be keeping my pain under control now so that is great! I am also seeing a little bit more movement in my mouth. The ringing in my ears is out of control!!! I had a hearing test at the ENT. The RHS has not affected my hearing yet so that is good. But I had a difficult time with vertigo and almost threw up when I was having the test done. I told the women performing the test that I was having a difficult time hearing anything over the ringing in my ears. |
