Last day of term for those at school. Began week feeling tired and weary. Not bothered about walking. Must be knackered! I usually live for fresh air!!

Very, very tired, irritable, angry and frustrated on Sunday after walk at Gwbert. Need something different to do now. Bored of cooking cheese scones. Decided to try some sketching, will get a pad tomorrow in town. Some energy to do these things would be great too!!

Coping quite well with reading now.

Best day out this week was a trip to Newgale on the west coast. Had a long walk along the beach.

Had our weekly walk round Cardigan before acupuncture. Felt more like a human being when I went today. Told physio about the incident when my lip curled up after using the toner & how I can move my cheek a bit now. She put needles in my hands and feet as well as face obviously wanting to knock me out! She mentioned again that I must have been really run down for this virus to flare up & what a shock it must have been. Yea it was a shock. It just came so out of the blue. Yes I was tired from work, a bit stressed but I felt really fit and was relatively happy. Maybe I should have had more time off after my major operation? Perhaps you just don’t realise how run out you are.

That evening I actually managed to get through to the Dr who diagnosed me. He was very interested to know how I was recovering and suggested that I stayed off work until half term. Asked him whether I could start driving. Apparently that is fine as long as I check with insurance company as I still need to wear the patch.

Tried some raking in the garden, while mum mowed the lawn...I think I got the tough job here!! Arms still feel very weak. Bit more cleaning. Outing to Newport on Thursday. The weather was really hot and we enjoyed 2 walks along the beach. As for the toilets though - well girls I had to resort to using the men’s ours were so disgusting. Put mum & Tilly on guard while I & another brave, but bursting soul resorted to using the blokes loos - not the urinals - bit tricky!

A positive week Tuesday onwards. (Must be the acupuncture!) Have managed a grand total of 3 sketches. Bored now. Will wait until after the Easter Holiday to start driving when it should be quieter on the roads. Still not feeling very confident about the idea of driving. I think I’ll know when I’m ready!
