Had another little surprise from the NHS today. My appointment with the ENT specialist which was put back a month to June has now been re-arranged for July due to 'unforseen circumstances' again!

Apparently, this time, 'unforseen circumstances' means that my original appointment was cancelled and re-arranged for a day when the ENT doc would be on annual leave so must be re-arranged once more. It's a good job that Ramsay Hunt syndrome is just a simple walk-in-the-park kind of illness isn't it??!!

One piece of good news though... I haven't experienced any earaches this week! I've been out in thunder storms and windy conditions but I haven't suffered any problems. Another milestone? Good job!

My balance is about the same as last week and my face muscles likewise.

Oh yea, almost forgot. I celebrated my 100th day of Ramsay Hunt syndrome on Thursday. It was such a wonderful day. We all had a great time recounting the times when I couldn't walk, I threw up constantly, I needed 36 tablets a day, I was bedbound... what a laugh we all had. Yea right.
