The strange twitches have continued all week and have become quite regular. If I blink hard you can actually see the bottom eyelid twitching for a second or so afterwards.

On top of that, the right cheek has started to feel a little swollen and the area around my nose just below the eye has 'frozen' a few times after a grimace or similar facial expression. At least a couple of times I have had to physically massage my face to help relax the 'freeze'

I went to see the doc on Monday and he wasn't sure whether I was showing signs of nerve regeneration or a relapse but suggested that I could take another course of antivirals in case the latter is true.

Towards the end of the week the numbness has become more apparent and the 'freezes' have lasted a little longer. Also, I have had a bit of earache and I've walked into doors and walls more frequently but I've not really had any other symptoms.
